Honeywell Sportsman Club

Saturday, February 25

We will set up a number of Sporting Clays stations, plus maybe a few rounds of Elimination.
There is no pre-shoot practice.

Sign-in starts at 8:30 AM
Shoot starts by 9:00 AM

Entry: $7.00 per shooter.

Bring: Shotgun, 4 boxes of ammo, hearing and eye protection, wear boots.

Optional: Lawn chairs, hunt stools for comfort at trapping locations, bring your own water.

Provided: Clay pigeons.

(If you don’t have a suitable shotgun, most friendly club members would be willing to allow you to shoot theirs, if you provide your own shot shells.)

Come prepared to help clean up the major clay fragments after the shoot. Bring trash bags, a bucket, a grabber if that will help you. We want to clean up our mess as much as possible.

Directions: Go north on I-17 to the Table Mesa exit (exit 236). Cross back over the freeway heading west. Just past the frontage road which heads north is a minor road with a wire gate across it. Go through the wire gate and the road will loop around heading south. Follow the road south for about ¾ mile to where it meets the pipeline swath (GPS coordinates N 33º 57.472’ W 112º 08.351’). Then continue west on the jeep road for 1.6 more miles to a large open area. A high clearance vehicle is needed.
